They appreciated the variety of styles but were particularly drawn to elements from Mockup 3 so we decided to move forward with that design. They loved the floral elegance but wanted to incorporate the clean lines of the modern minimalism. We discussed their feedback in detail, and I proceeded with revisions.
Bringing the Vision to Life with Watercolor
With a clear direction, I began the watercolor process. The client sent ample photos of their cats to ensure I capture their unique likeness. Since the clients requested using blue as the primary color I made sure to blend up the perfect shade of ultramarine blue, as colorful and vibrant as my couple.
Finalizing the Invitation Design
Once the watercolor paintings were complete, I digitized the artwork and integrated it into the invitation design using my design software. The final design was a beautiful blend of floral elegance and modern minimalism, with the couple’s cats charmingly featured.
