One of my goals for 2025 is to start teaching art workshops and spread my love for painting with my community. I'm thrilled to announce that I did just that with my first in-person watercolor workshop at Sparkled Gifts & Whatnots in Renton, WA!
I've been partnering with Sparkle Gifts this past year to put my art in their store! It's been an amazing partnership and I'm excited to announce that I'll be hosting more community workshops in the store.
The owner of Sparkle and I wanted to create a community space for people to do more art and crafts in a safe space with a teaching artist! We created the 4C (Creating Community Craft Club) and kicked off our first workshop on February 7th with a sweet Valentine's Day watercolor painting class.
Remember those Sweetheart conversation candies in school? We were inspired by those nostalgic candies and I taught the class a quick beginner-friendly watercoor tutorial. It was so fun to see everyone putting their own spin on those conversation hearts and all the different approaches to the project.
